Dominik Schiener, Co-Founder

Dominik is a seasoned technology entrepreneur, currently serving as the Co-Founder of IOTA and Chairman of the IOTA Foundation, a non-profit organization operating across Germany, Switzerland, and the UAE. In his role as Chairman, he drives the strategic expansion of IOTA’s digital infrastructure, fostering innovative digital economies in sectors such as trade and logistics, digital finance, and digital identity. With over a decade of experience, Dominik's core expertise spans blockchain, AI, IoT, digital finance, startups, and the development of comprehensive digital ecosystems.

Robert Daykin, Co-Founder

Robert has built a distinguished 15-year career in fund administration, working with leading firms such as State Street, IQEQ, and TMF. Over his extensive tenure in the financial services industry, he has developed deep expertise in managing complex fund operations and driving efficiencies within fund administration processes. With nine years of experience in the cryptocurrency space, Robert co-founded Nakama Limited in 2022, a pioneering Web3 building studio and venture capital firm. At the forefront of blockchain technology adoption, Robert is focused on bridging the gap between traditional finance and digital assets, with a particular emphasis on integrating blockchain technologies with real-world assets.

Stuart Pinnington, Non-Executive Director

Stuart is an experienced fund director having held various board positions for over 15 years and worked in financial services for 25 years. He is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and the Eastern Caribbean Court. He has also qualified as a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors specializing in all aspects of corporate governance. Stuart is currently regulated and approved to act as a director by the following regulatory authorities: UK (FCA), Jersey (JFSC), Luxembourg (CSSF), Guernsey (GFSC), Malta (MFSA) and the Cayman Islands (CMA). Stuart has experience acting as fund director in various asset classes including real estate, private equity, digital assets and equity markets. His primary role as Director of the Fund will be to provide corporate governance and oversight to the running of the Fund.

Daniel de Michele, CTO

Daniel is a seasoned software engineer and CTO with over 20 years of experience, specializing in blockchain, IoT, and decentralized technologies. As founding partner and CTO of Nakama Labs, he drives the development of DeFi solutions and cutting-edge smart contract systems. He founded IOT2TANGLE and co-founded XDK2MAM, collaborating with major companies like Bosch Connectivity, Espressif, and STMicroelectronics to bridge IoT devices with blockchain. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, a specialization in IoT from UTN, and is a certified IOTA Developer. His expertise spans IoT integrations, smart contracts, and tokenization in the blockchain space, making him a recognized leader in decentralized tech. Daniel has been instrumental in creating open-source solutions that enhance real-world asset tokenization, working closely with global blockchain communities to foster innovation and integration.
